There are plenty of Side Quests that you can complete throughout Hogwarts Legacy‘s open world, like the A Thief in the Night Side Quest. This Side Quest has a bit of a plot twist that you’ll never see coming. You’ll have to head into Irondale within the Feldcroft Region and speak to Pádraic Haggarty, who thinks that his sister has stolen a valuable family heirloom from him in the night. How to Complete A Thief in the Night Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
Before you begin this Side Quest, you’ll have to make sure you have complete the High Keep Main Quest, and you are at least Level 20 as well.
Speak to Pádraic Haggarty
Head into Irondale in the Feldcroft area of your map and speak to the angry vendor who seems to be rambling on about somebody stealing from him in the night. He’ll tell you that he thinks it’s his sister who has done it and asks you to track down the thief for him.
Return to the Scene in Irondale at Night
Wai until night time, then cast your Revelio Spell so that you can see any clues left behind from the thief.
Look for Clues at the Scene
When you cast Revelio, you will see piles of coins lying on the ground, leaving a trail directly to the thief.
Follow the Trail of Coins
Follow the Coin Trail all the way to the thief, and through two different enemy camps. You will arrive at a Niffler Den.
Capture the Thief
Use your Nab-Sack to capture the Niffler and wander around the Den until you locate Haggarty’s heirloom, which will be at the very top of the Niffler’s Den.
Return to the Irondale Vendor
When you return to Pádraic Haggarty, he will tell you that he knew it wasn’t his sister all along and will reward you with Galleons, an Appearance item, and 180 XP.
