There are loads of Side Quests you can figure out how to complete in Hogwarts Legacy, some even inside the castle, like ‘Dissending’ for Sweets. This quest is given by Garreth Weasley, the nephew of Professor Matilda Weasley. He will tell you that he’s got another potion he wishes to brew up after his last mistake in Potions Class that left his cauldron and the rest of the class exploding with excitement. However, he is missing a key ingredient for his potion, and he needs you to get it for him. Keep reading to learn how to complete ‘Dissending’ for Sweets in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Complete ‘Dissending’ for Sweets in Hogwarts Legacy
First, Garreth will tell you to look for the One-Eyed Witch Statue and interact with it, revealing a secret passageway. You’ll need to explore the secret passageway, making your way through a set of caves that has a dark and eerie feel to it.
The first obstacle you come across will be a large spiderweb blocking your path. In order to clear the spiderweb so you can get through, you need to cast your Incendio Spell at the web. Carry on past the web.
Now, you will come up to a strange platform sitting on the ground and seemingly no way up to the path above to continue on your journey. Though, if you look at the platform on the ground, you should see a symbol for the Levioso Spell in the center of it. Stand on the platform and aim at it while you cast your Levioso Spell. This will raise the platform up high enough that you can jump up the wall to continue on the path.
Next, you will come across more platforms like the one you casted Levioso on. In order to get past them, you may need to cast your mending spell on them in order to get them in one piece before casting Levioso to bring them up to a safe level for you to jump across.
Once you’ve made it past all the floating platform obstacles, you will find yourself face to face with two stone fireplaces and a pressure plate. You will need to cast your Incendio Spell in order to light each of the fireplaces, then step on the pressure place between the two of them in order to open up a door that leads to your next location, Honeydukes.
Head up the ladder that leads into Honeydukes and look around until you find the Billywig Stings that Garreth needs for his potion. Collect them and fast travel back to Garreth, completing the Side Quest.
