Just like in Hogwarts Castle, there are plenty of Hogwarts Legacy Side Quests to pick up in Hogsmeade, like the Venomous Revenge Side Quest. You’ll pick this quest up from Ackley Barnes, a man who is intent on getting revenge on Alfred Lawley by stealing his most prized possession. However, he doesn’t want to do it himself, and he suspects that if he starts pointing fingers, nobody will guess that a student was behind it. How to Complete the Venomous Revenge Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
Before you begin this quest, you’ll want to ensure that you are at least Level 15 and have already completed The Helm of Urtkot Main Quest.
Talk to the Man Behind the Three Broomsticks
When you head outside of the Three Broomsticks, you can hear a man muttering to himself around the side of the building. Walk around and speak to him.
Find Alfred Lawley’s Cellar
Head around the corner where the Quest Marker takes you. They will take you directly to Lawley’s Cellar, a few meters from where you started the Side Quest. Head inside and be ready to act sneaky.
Find Lawley’s Venomous Tantacula
When you arrive inside Lawley’s Cellar, you’ll find Lawley standing in front of you facing the other way. Make sure you cast your Disillusionment Spell right away so that he doesn’t see you, and sneak into the room to your right where there will be a door.
Head through the door and take down the enemies in your path. After they are taken down, head through the room before you and up some stairs in order to find the Venomous Tentacula. Grab a piece of it and head back out of the Cellar.
Return to Ackley Barnes
When you rerun to Ackley, he will award you with Galleons, 180 XP, and an Appearance item, and the quest will be complete.
