Hogwarts Legacy: How to Start the PlayStation Exclusive Quest
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

PlayStation 4 and 5 owners who’re playing Hogwarts Legacy, you are in luck: because the game contains timed-exclusive content for the PlayStation platforms, The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest. Xbox and PC players will have to wait for a year to be able to play this short but very interesting side quest. This guide will tell you how you can start the Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation exclusive quest and a quick walkthrough on how to finish it.

This Hogwarts Legacy quest is actually called “Minding Your Own Business” and can be found in the Hogsmeade area. However, to be able to access the PlayStation-exclusive quest you will have to complete the second Trial, Charles Rookwood’s Trial, first. You should get the Trial after you have unlocked Wingardium Leviosa and Broom Riding.

To start the “Minding Your Own Business” quest, go to Hogsmeade and then look for a mission marker in the southeast part of the area. There, you will meet Cassandra Mason, who offers you an empty shop for a mere 1,500 Galleon. What a deal, right? Hand over your cash to her once you are ready to start the quest.

Now speak to the house elf inside the vacant store, Penny. Use Repairo to fix the shop and then Cassandra will ask you to retrieve some items from a chest in the back of the building.  Use the key from Penny to open the chest.

From there, you will end up entering a secret chamber. Use Lumos and search for a door. Since the level is pretty linear, keep going until you see a floating lantern. Use Leviosa to take hold of it and hang it on the door’s left side.

Not long after, youโ€™ll meet Fastidio the Poltergeist. Complete his challenges and defeat a monster. Head back and meet up with Penny again. Speak with Officer Singer, and you’ll have to confront Cassandra Mason herself. At the end of the quest, you can decide whether or not to set Penny free, and you get to pick a name for the shop.

Completing the PlayStation-exclusive quest will reward you with your very own shop in Hogwarts Legacy, where you can sell items and gear at “better rates than anywhere else” to Penny; as well as the Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set, a pretty snappy outfit that should be a proper dress for entrepreneurial witches and wizards.
