Even if the 1.2 version of Honkai Star Rail just kicked off its second phase, HoYoverse already outlines some of the changes coming to the 1.3 update. It would seem that the developers are always listening to what players have to say. In the latest ‘Voice of the Galaxy’ post, the people behind the game listed many changes coming with the next big patch. One of the most important ones is the increase of Trailblaze Power in Honkai Star Rail version 1.3, the resource you need for Calyxes and certain bosses.

As mentioned, one of the biggest changes coming to the 1.3 version of Honkai Star Rail is the increase in Trailblaze Power. While it might not seem big to some, this is one of the most requested quality-of-life changes gamers have requested. Right now, players have a limit of 160 Trailblaze Power, which they can refill by using Stellar Jade or Fuel. However, the 1.3 version will increase this to 240. This is, so far, the most prominent change, yet other things are coming to the new update that we’ll list right here:
- Trailblaze Power will increase from 160 to 240.
- Reserve Trailblaze Power will be added.
- When players max out their Trailblaze Power, the surplus will convert to Reserve Trailblaze Power.
- Dialogue History function (uncertain if it’s coming with the 1.3 version).
- More chat stickers coming with version 1.3.
- Players will now receive birthday emails even if they didn’t log in during their birthday.
- Improvements to consumables (uncertain if it’s coming with 1.3).
- New items coming to Herta’s Store in the Simulated Universe.
- Improvements to auto-battle AI (planned for future versions).

As you can see, HoYoverse is going all out with these changes for the 1.3 version of Honkai Star Rail. Many players find this surprising, in a good way, given how new the game is. Many think some of these changes should’ve arrived in other games from the company, such as Genshin Impact years ago. Still, fans of this new gacha game are happy and can’t wait for more quality-of-life improvements.
