It’s that time of the year, Trailblazers. Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 is coming alongside its anniversary, and it is wild to believe it’s been two years since we all stepped into the Astral Express for the first time. To commemorate said milestone, HoYoverse is preparing a lot of goodies alongside the continuation of the Flame-Chase Journey. Two new members join the roster, a lot of events are coming our way, optimizations to the character warp system, and the option to pick between two 5-star characters are only a few of the things coming with this update.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 Launches on April 9
Let’s get the important things out of the way first. Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 will launch on April 9. If you didn’t watch the latest Special Program, we’ve attached the trailer above to see what awaits you in the next part of the Flame-Chase Journey.
Besides the Trailblaze Missions, which will surely be great after everything that transpired in Version 3.1, there are many things coming for all Trailblazers to celebrate our two years on this interstellar journey.
Castorice and Anaxa Join the Roster
As usual, we’ll have two new banners introducing two new characters to the game. For Phase One, Castorice will make her debut. She’s a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Remembrance. Alongside Castorice, Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron will return.
During Phase Two, Anaxa will join the ranks as a 5-star Wind character following the Path of Erudition. Accompanying him is Dr. Ratio, who we previously got for free last year. If you missed him, now’s the perfect time to pull for this 5-star Imaginary character who follows the Path of the Hunt.
The Two-Year Anniversary Celebration Begins
While the official anniversary date is on April 26, the celebration will kick off once the patch goes live. For starters, Trailblazers will be able to get 20 free pulls just by logging in. On top of that, on April 26, you’ll get 1,600 Stellar Jade as a gift. But that’s not all. You can pick a character to give you said gift through an in-game card. Some of the characters include Kafka, Firefly, March 7th, and more.
Speaking of characters, you can also claim Ruan Mei or Luocha for free. You can do so using the new item called Golden Companion Spirit, obtainable through the limited-time event Cherished Recollection. Furthermore, changes are coming to the character warp system. You’ll now be able to customize the standard characters you get. This function allows you to swap three characters out and add either Fu Xuan, Blade, or Seele to the pool. For instance, you can take Bailu, Clara, and Welt Yang out and add the aforementioned three. Now, if you pull for a banner, you’ll have a chance to encounter any of the three added members.
Overall, Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 looks like one of the best updates we’ve had. If you want to join the anniversary celebrations or continue the Flame-Chase Journey, mark your calendar because the next step of this Trailblazing adventure is about to begin.
