Hoyoverse has a habit of making fantastic waifus and husbandos designs that are so enticing they often leave players penniless. In addition, the developer decided it was an excellent idea to create new styles of its favorite characters from some of its games. Like it or not, the company hit a gold mine with this strategy. According to leaks, the next gacha installment to get skins could be Honkai Star Rail. While it is uncertain if they’ll be locked behind a paywall, one thing’s for sure: we better start saving money to beautify our characters.

Some might argue Dan Heng was the first to receive a new style in the game. To clarify, Imbibitor Lunae wasn’t a skin for our Astral Express crew’s edgy boy but a new version of an existing character. Still, the transformation made him reach a 5-star rarity and a place in everyone’s hearts due to how gorgeous he looked. With that in mind, people thought March 7th would get an upgrade due to the skin we saw during the Aetherium Wars event; it didn’t happen. Luckily, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. According to leaks, Himeko, March 7th, Welt, Bronya, and Seele might be the first to get a makeover.

For the nonbelievers, Uncle Winter is the leaker who shared the supposed Honkai Star Rail skins. If you didn’t know, this user is the same one who revealed the details of most Genshin Impact outfits. Thanks to that, fans and players have more faith in this information. On the other hand, as with any other rumor, we should take it with a grain of salt. Ultimately, five new skins sound too good to be true. Also, it mentions Bronya and Seele might get swimsuit designs, which is quite strange, especially with Belobog’s weather. But if Sushang can summon a giant chicken, anything can happen in this universe, right? For now, all we can do is wait for any official confirmation.
