Since the first game leaks appeared, people have eagerly awaited more news about Jingliu, one of the game’s most anticipated characters. While we saw her in several trailers and companion missions, she’s finally becoming a playable character during version 1.4. The former leader of the High-Cloud Quintet is a fearless fighter who wields the Path of Destruction and the power of Ice, as we saw in the recent Special Program. However, Honkai Star Rail has released the official character introduction of Jingliu, showcasing more of her skills.
Honkai Star Rail Showcases Jingliu’s Skill in New Character Introduction
Character introductions are a tradition in almost all HoYoverse games. The company launches a few slides showing the skills, animations, ultimate ability, and even some lore crumbs for fans to gather. This is great as it’s a way to hype up players and convince them to pull for a certain character.
If you missed the game’s latest showcase, Jingliu will arrive during the first phase of version 1.4 alongside Guinaifen, a 4-star character. Fortunately or unfortunately for some, this version will be one of the biggest in terms of characters, as we are also getting a new 5-star fire character from the Path of Hunt, making it the first we have in the game.

One thing that might nudge people into pulling for Jingliu after watching her character introduction in Honkai Star Rail is the person who voices her. If you’re unaware, the famous singer and voice actor AmaLee is lending her voice to Jingliu. This is huge as she has landed other roles in the voice acting industry, like in My Dress Up Darling and Octopath Traveler 2.
Besides the fantastic voice actor behind the character, Jingliu brings some fun gimmicks to the game. She can switch between states to deal single-target or AoE damage during her turns. While she’ll consume the party’s HP to do more damage, one of the recent healers can counter that. So, don’t miss your chance to pull for her when she debuts in the coming weeks.
