Hostile Ohio Wingstop Employee Loses It On Co-Worker As Customers Look On: ‘Going Crazy In The Kitchen’

Drama behind the counter

When you think about fast food drama on the internet, you usually think of disgruntled customers complaining about long wait times, poor food quality, or getting the wrong order. While fast food workers have to deal with all of that on a regular basis, they also have their own workplace drama just like everyone else. Recently, two employees at a Wingstop location in Akron, Ohio proved that when they got into a battle in front of their customers.

In a TikTok video posted by user @tyler.renee, two employees of the fast food chain are seen getting into a verbal sparring match, and the Ohio customers had a front row seat to all of the drama. The clip, which has more than 1.2 million views, starts off with an older employee, assumed to be a manager, wearing a black t-shirt, hat, jeans, and a silver chain around his neck. He can clearly be heard yelling at a younger man, who dons an all-black Wingstop uniform.

“Stop following me,” the younger employee says to his co-worker. “Do your job,” the other man shoots back. “Don’t get on my neck, bro,” the younger says. “You a kid, stop following me,” the alleged manager responds. “I ain’t gonna take no more,” he adds.

The younger employee then fires back, “Remember who you is,” and that doesn’t sit well with the older man. “Yeah, I know who I am. I’m the mother [expletive] who’s gonna [expletive] [expletive] up.” He then adds, “You a kid. I’m gonna go to jail for kicking your [expletive].”

Tensions got so high that the person recording the video can be heard reacting to the heated exchange. However, in the caption of the video, she joked about the situation. “I guess this is a bad time to ask is my order ready,” she wrote.

The kitchen drama was isolated to just the two men. Unfortunately, the other employees are also seen in close quarters with the battling co-workers. At least four other workers can be spotted doing their jobs in the video, including a younger girl who looks uncomfortable about the situation.

Of course, TikTok had plenty to say about the video, and the jokes were definitely rolling in. “Bro just toss my garlic wings,” one person commented. “Older manager lacks more control and emotional intelligence than the younger man,” a second person chimed in. “It’s crazy how we be in the kitchen about to fight then clocking in the next day laughing,” a third comment read. “Going crazy in the kitchen,” a fourth social media user wrote.

The video of the Ohio Wingstop workers doesn’t offer any other context, so hopefully these co-workers settled their beef without any physical violence. At the end of the day, they’re just trying to get through their shifts.
