A crucial part of any game is ensuring you have the proper equipment, but what about in Phasmophobia? You’ll want to take extra care when setting up your Phasmophobia loadouts. This could be the step that makes or breaks a ghost hunt in most situations, but what do you really know about setting up your load out the right way? I promise ghosts won’t take it easy on you just because you didn’t take the time to set up your loadout or just didn’t know how. That’s where I come in. Keep reading below to learn how loadouts and equipment work in Phasmophobia.

How Loadouts Work in Phasmophobia

Did you know that you can actually save loadouts from the Equipment menu in Phasmophobia? There is! While selecting the items you will be taking on your next ghost hunt, there is an option that will make everything a whole lot easier for you. On the bottom righthand corner of the page, there is a button you can hit that actually allows you to save your current loadaout for future ghost hunts.

The best way to know what the right loadout for you is is to simply go about the process of trial and error. Test out your Phasmophobia equipment and choose what works best for you. Once you’ve found the perfect equipment selection, hit that option that lets you save your Phasmophobia loadout. It’s typically recommended that you bring everything you need for a solo ghost hunt, whether alone or in a big group of players. This always ensures you will have the requirements to survive your next ghost hunt.

How to Buy More Items to Use in Your Loadout in Phasmophobia

When you are in your equipment menu, you can search the righthand side of your screen at the shop. This is where you will be making all of your purchases. If you need anything in your Phasmophobia loadout that you haven’t bought yet, make sure you do it before your loadout is saved! You have two loadouts that you can fill up, so use them both up and make sure you will have what you need no matter what type of map you are playing on.

Keep in mind that you can also change your loadout whenever you visit the Warehouse lobby before a game! Good luck, and kick some ghost butt in Phasmophobia with your new loadout!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
