Hogwarts Legacy: How to Tame Beasts
After you’ve unlocked and completed the first Ancient Magic Trial in Hogwarts Legacy, you can begin to tame beasts so that you can take care of them and build friendships with them. However, there is a bit of training that you’ll have to do in the form of partaking in the Beasts Class taught by Professor Howin. The Beast Class can be found in the location pictured below:
Once you’ve participated and completed the class, you learn how to tame and care for beasts within your Vivarium. Your Vivarium can be placed in the Room of Requirement and is given to you by Week shortly after completing the Beasts Class Main Quest. However, before you can take care of any beasts, you’ll have to tame them and capture them first.
Eventually, Deek will give you a Nab Sack, a tool used to capture creatures you find in your adventures throughout the world of Hogwarts Legacy. The beasts that you can capture throughout the world are normally marked on the map with a circle-shaped paw print symbol. Simply head over to any locations with that symbol on your map and look around for them. It shouldn’t take long to find them, assuming you use the map.
Once you’ve got them in your sights, use your Nab Sack on them, and you’ll be caring for little beasts in no time with the new tools you’ve acquired.
