Are you hysterical or is that ghost?

Lethal Company is in no shortage of scares. Despite how amusing the game can be, many things will send a chill down your spine. Ghost Girl is one of those things. Anything with Ghost Girl concerns your Lethal Company sanity level. If things get too shaky in your mind, there’s a strong chance a girl in a red dress will come after you. The only problem is, no one else can see her but you. So, it’s best to keep your sanity in a more positive direction.

All About Your Sanity in Lethal Company

Let’s get one thing clear: you cannot track your sanity level in Lethal Company. It’s more of a hidden stat the game tracks. However, there are some things you can do to make sure that it doesn’t go down. These tips may also help you regain some sanity loss in Lethal Company too:

  • Don’t be alone
  • Stay healthy
  • Don’t look around too much
  • Loot inexpensive items

Sanity Level Tip 1: Don’t Be Alone

The more you’re alone in Lethal Company, the greater the chance your sanity will dip. So, consider pairing up often. This is the time when you want to focus on the roles your crew has. If someone is on the ship with a Walkie-Talkie, then you can let them communicate with one other person in the facility. This way, the other two can simply stick together.

Sanity Level Lethal Company Tip 2: Stay Healthy

This may seem like an impossible task, thanks to the amount of things out to kill you. But you want to try to stay as healthy as possible. It’s a good way to keep your sanity intact. If your health falls below 20 HP, you’re considered critically injured. This deals a blow to your sanity.

Sanity Level Tip 3: Don’t Look Around Too Much

Yet another tip that seems borderline impossible, but it is doable. If you look around too often in Lethal Company (i.e., turning left and right), your sanity takes a hit. I know it’s mandatory to look around in case something jumps out at you. Just remember that Ghost Girl will take advantage of that paranoia.

Sanity Level Tip 4: Loot Inexpensive Items

The quota means everything in Lethal Company, and it seems Ghost Girl cares about that, too. We know this because there’s a chance she will pursue the one who is carrying the most expensive scrap. You can always meet the quota by gathering plenty of lower-rated items. But if you must carry something high-end, be sure to stick to other tips like staying in a group.

To avoid dealing with Ghost Girl in Lethal Company, you should remember the following:

  • Stay with a buddy
  • Keep your health up
  • Don’t turn too much
  • Find inexpensive loot

All of these tips should help you keep your sanity leveled in Lethal Company. Of course, there’s no foolproof way to 100% avoid Ghost Girl. So, if you do everything above and still encounter her, there’s only one thing to do: run.

Lethal Company is available on PC via Steam.
