One of the most compelling aspects of gacha games is the opportunity to build a collection of unique characters. The excitement of acquiring all the husbandos and waifus, much like completing a Pokedex, is a major draw. However, to obtain any Resonator, it’s vital to understand how each of the banners and the gacha system operates in Wuthering Waves. By maximizing your resources wisely, you might even end up with more units than you anticipated, thanks to the intriguing bonuses that Kuro Games has incorporated.

As a new player, the first thing you should know is the existence of the beginner’s banner, The Novice Convene: Utterance of Marvels, which has a tremendous first-time bonus. This should be the first banner you should use your pulls on. The Novice Convene guarantees a random 5-star character up to 50 pulls. In addition to the discount on pulls, when you use the 50 pulls, you will have paid only 40. Once you pull the random Resonator, you can go to the Character Permanent Convene: Tidal Chorus, or the Standard. The gacha system changes for this Wuthering Waves banner; in this one, you can get a 5-star character after up to 80 pulls. However, at this time, you can choose which resonance you want to get.

In the Weapon Standard banner, you can also select the weapon you can get. The limited banner also follows the same rules as the gacha system; the difference is that Wuthering Waves divides this banner into two phases. Each phase will have a different 5-star character or weapon. It also has a pity system, in which if you don’t get the character or weapon featured in the first 80 pulls, the next 80 pulls you will secure them.

You can get weapons and Resonators 4-star from each pull, including other materials you can exchange in the store for more Tides. So also, just by spending pulls, you are already saving for the subsequent pulls. Still, the best way to earn pulls is to do events, complete exploration challenges, and advance in the main story. Let’s hope for more challenges and rewards from Kuro Games for future updates. Get more of these incredible characters or weapons to improve their builds and get to the endgame more than prepared.
