The Grandcypher crew is here in a brand-new Action RPG, and those eager to dive into Granblue Fantasy: Relink should know how long it’ll take them to beat this title. Usually, whenever we see anime-themed games, we tend to believe we’re in for a long journey. Thankfully, this entry abandons some pesky filler content to provide players with a high-quality narrative that they can tackle fast to reach the endgame. Still, it is a pretty good playtime that awaits you in this new journey across the Sky Realm.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s Length Explained

Initially, the developers claimed the main story would take players 20 hours, but during our review, we only spent 15 hours focusing on the main story chapters. However, those looking to finish the post-game scenario might spend two or three extra hours in it, depending on how fast you tackle some of the required quests. Overall, we’d say the main story with the epilogue lasts a bit less than 20 hours, which isn’t bad. Ultimately, the game pushes you to reach the endgame content to try some of the raids and build your favorite character with the many weapons and masteries you can unlock.

Speaking of Granblue Fantasy: Relink‘s endgame, there isn’t an exact time to say how long it’ll to beat. The game has a similar structure to Monster Hunter: World regarding its questing system, so you can easily spend over a hundred hours if you’re grinding for everything. Besides, more raids are planned after the game’s release, meaning players will keep returning to this title.

Personally, we recommend finishing the story as fast as possible and avoiding certain quests unless you really want Crewmate Cards to recruit characters. If not, you can enjoy this short but concise story and reach the meaty parts of the game that await you once you unlock the hardest difficulties.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is available on PS4, PS5 and PC.
