This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Just like in the previous game, in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Korok Seeds have to be collected to increase and max Link’s inventory. These Seeds are scattered all over Hyrule, hidden behind puzzles, and can be traded with Hestu the giant Korok. At first, Hestu can be found at the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower near the New Serenne Stable. Afterward, he will make himself at home at Lookout Landing in front of a huge tree.

Before his pouch is upgraded, Link can only able to hold onto a small number of items and equipment. When you start the game, you can only bring around four Shields, five Bows, and nine Weapons. Obviously, you will need a much bigger pouch to tackle Ganondorf later in the game. So here are the number of Korok Seeds needed to max the inventory in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

In total, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hides 1,000 Korok Seeds all over Hyrule. There are 100 more than in Breath of the Wild because some events will give out more than one Seed once completed. Thankfully, you do not have to get all of them to max Link’s inventory.

You only need 421 of them; 108 Seeds for the Bow slot, 153 for the Weapon slot, and 160 for the Shield slot. With each slot upgrade, Link’s inventory will also gain one additional inventory slot. Check out below for the many Korok Seeds you need for each upgrade.
