This isn’t the first time that we have seen a launch day for Hogwarts Legacy. The difference is that this time it’s being released on the Nintendo Switch for the first time. Not only that but there are two editions that Potter-heads can get their hands on: the Standard edition and the Deluxe edition. Even though the two have previously been released, they are priced differently than you would see for other platforms.
How Much Is Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition on Switch?
Because there are two editions available for the Nintendo Switch, there are two different prices. You can find each edition both physically from retailers like Amazon or GameStop and digitally for download in the Nintendo Store. The prices for both editions are as follows:
- Hogwarts Legacy Standard Edition – $59.99
- Hogwarts Legacy Standard Edition (Digital) – $59.99
- Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition – $69.99
- Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition (Digital) – $69.99
If you decide to buy it digitally, you’ll earn yourself 300 Gold Points that can be used to make future digital purchases cheaper. Once you’ve got it picked up and you’re ready to install it, first make sure that you have at least 14.3 GB of storage.

The DLC that is currently available on the Nintendo Store and their prices are as follows:
- Dark Arts Pack – $19.99
- French Language Pack – $0
- Spanish (Mexico) Language Pack – $0
- Portuguese (Brazil) Language Pack – $0
- German Language Pack – $0
- Spanish Language Pack – $0
- Italian Language Pack – $0
- Japanese Language Pack – $0
All of them except for the Dark Arts Pack are just language packs, so you don’t really need to install them unless you need to.
