If you’re wondering how old Scaramouche is in Genshin Impact, you’re not the only one. Although he looks quite young, he follows a common anime trope, where he is actually older than his appearance. Well, it’s not that hard to accept, considering Teyvat is a weird world with magic. Unfortunately, it makes understanding Scharamouche’s true character rather difficult since most players won’t know his real age. Don’t worry, though, because we can still use our deduction skills to guess his age.

Scaramouche real age in Genshin Impact is between 400 and 500 years old. Although he looks like a young man, the Fatui agent is actually a puppet created by the Electro Archon, Ei. You can learn this fact from The “Divine” Will story teaser on YouTube.

According to the video, Raiden Shogun made Scaramouche and abandoned him. However, this is not the full story. The Archon indeed created the puppet as proof of the concept that would become the foundation of the actual Raiden Shogun puppet.

After seeing Scaramouche crying during his sleep, Ei felt compassion and decided not to destroy the puppet and let him live his life. Unfortunately, Scaramouche only saw this as an act of abandonment.

However, this event clearly showed that Scaramouche should be born after the fall of Khaenri’ah. Ei only planned to retreat to the Realm of Euthemia after her twin’s death.

Based on the dialogue between Ei and Yae Miko during the main quest, the Archon has stayed inside the other realm for several centuries. So, it is safe to assume that Scaramouche is at least 400 years old when the Traveler meets him.

Scaramouche stayed on Inazuma for quite some time and even got to know various people. Unfortunately, he encountered many tragedies that eventually broke him. The puppet met Pierro and joined the Fatui to retaliate against his mother and fulfill his desire to become a god.
