Cairne Bloodhoof is a powerful boss in Warcraft Rumble who initially has a powerful offense. Unless you can bypass the offensive line, you won’t be able to reach Cairne before your Main Tower falls. Finding the right Mini combination and deployment areas is crucial to pushing back the offensive and making Cairne vulnerable. Here’s how you beat Cairne Bloodhoof without losing too much time.
Taking Cairne’s Central Guard Tower
Before starting this battle, make sure to have as many Minis at Rank 9 or higher if possible. All of Cairne’s Minis will be Rank 9, and winning will be difficult if your Minis are inherently weaker. Avoid using armored Minis since he uses a Flame Elemental, and watch out for flying enemies since he uses ranged attackers.
To beat Cairne Bloodhoof in Warcraft Rumble, you need better positioning to avoid getting overwhelmed initially. When Cairne sends his Warsong Grunts down the middle, hold the line with Tank Minis or Heroes. Send some offensive Minis on your right flank to take the central Guard Tower in the middle. Siege Minis are great, but melee Minis are better for fighting against enemies that intercept you.
Taking and holding the central Guard Tower is crucial to get closer to Cairne. This allows you to intercept his Minis before they can group, pushing past a weaker offensive. Send your Kobolds to the left and right flanks to harvest gold that lets you push your assault further. Your Minis at the Central Guard Tower will attack Cairne, leaving his central flank vulnerable.
Beating Cairne Bloodhoof Before Time Runs Out
Just like Raene Wolfrunner, Cairne isn’t a significant threat without backup. He is a Tank Hero and can take a few hits, but taking the Guard Tower gives you enough momentum to pressure him. If you harvest more gold with your Kobolds, you prevent Cairne from getting reinforcements to fight you off.
Use spells such as Chain Lightning to hurt him and other reinforcements he summons to assist him. Cairne is powerful enough to take out a few Minis; make sure you deploy Minis at the central Guard Tower to pressure him. When the central flank eases up, send Minis down that way to push Cairne on two fronts.
It is tough to bypass Cairne’s initial offensive since he has Minis already summoned and better positioning. But if you take his gold sources, grab the central Guard Tower, and push two flanks, you shouldn’t have a problem taking him down.
