There are a variety of new bosses, characters, and quests to complete in the Genshin Impact version 4.0 update. One of these new bosses is the Icewind Suite boss, which can be found just north of the Fountain of Lucine. It can be tricky to both get to and beat, so we outlined how to beat Icewind Suite in Genshin Impact and the Icewind Suite location.

As explained above, the Icewind Suite boss is north of the Fountain of Lucine. When you arrive at the right location, you will come across a man with a camera named Maillardet, who will ask if you’d like to take part in the Icewind Suite. There are two different routes you can choose to fight, Sirge of Coppelia and Nemesis of Coppelius, but the one you choose boils down to the materials you need. You can also ask him more questions about what’s going on if you still are a bit confused about what is happening. If you feel you aren’t ready, you are free to return to this later when you feel a bit more prepared.

Once you’ve made your choice, the battle will begin. It’s essential to pay attention to the Icewind Suite’s moves because it can create a damage zone on the floor that is either Anemo or Cryo-based. It also has two different shields based on the same status effects, so you will want to use strong Pyro characters to break the Cryo shield. You can also try using an Electro character to try and trigger the Superconduct reactions within their shields.

While all this is happening, you want to pay attention to the Pneuma and Ousia energies because they can create an Annihilation reaction. Since this boss is at Level 93 when you first encounter it, you will want to ensure that you have all of the necessary resources and materials. Otherwise, you might be stuck running around and dealing damage bit by bit before you can defeat it.

Once defeated, you will earn the following:

  • 200 Character EXP
  • 200 Adventure EXP
  • 45 Companionship EXP
  • 6,000 Mora
  • 1 Gladiator’s Longing
  • 1 Berserker’s Timepiece
  • 1 Vayuda Turquoise Gem
  • 2 Artificed Spare Clockwork Component
  • 1 Instructor’s Pocket Watch
  • 1 Lucky Dog’s Clover
  • 2 Vayuda Turquoise Fragment
  • 1 Vayuda Turquoise Sliver

That’s everything you need to know to beat the Icewind Suite Genshin boss.
