After you defeat Evelynn in Story or Expert Mode, your next champion to beat is Sett in Tournament of Souls. You can spam Samira’s Abilities and come out on top. It’s just a matter of knowing which Abilities to bring to the table since you’ve unlocked different ones at this stage in the tournament. Defeating Sett focuses on good combo attacks to increase your damage. Follow along with our tips so you can beat Sett and move on to tougher opponents.

It’s a thrill to jump into the fighting-style mode that League of Legends introduced for the summer event. Sett is one of many Soul Fighters you can take on in the Tournament of Souls. You’ll encounter him at Stage 7, and he’s not too tough to handle if you spam the right Abilities.

You first want to head into the battle with these Abilities for Samira:

  • Q Ability: Level 2 | Piercing Precision
  • W Ability: Level 1 | Sky Scraper
  • E Ability: Level 3 | Style On ‘Em
  • R Ability: Level 1 | Chaotic Daybreak

You can beat Sett in Tournament of Souls if you keep him airborne. So, you’ll always start with Sky Scraper. Follow that with Piercing Precision as it can prolong the airborne duration. Meanwhile, your newly unlocked E Ability will deal 50% more damage as Sett’s airborne. Finish it off with another Piercing Precision. You can add your R Ability when possible, for extra crit damage.

In short, the sequence to beat Sett in Tournament of Souls is as follows:

  • W > Q > E > Q

Once you’re comfortable in Tournament of Souls, you can tackle Expert Mode. When it comes to Expert Sett in Tournament of Souls, you will want a new strategy. He can tank Samira if you give him the room. Plus, he has a move that can one-hit KO you if you’re not careful.

Before we can beat Sett in Tournament of Souls, give Samira the following loadout:

  • Q Ability: Level 1 | Quickshot
  • W Ability: Level 2 | Back Atcha
  • E Ability: Level 2 | Twilight Rush
  • R Ability: Level 2 | Immortal Inferno

You’ll spam the E + Q attack throughout the fight. So check their cooldowns and use them together. It’s the best way to beat Expert Sett in Tournament of Souls. Utilize your R Ability whenever you can. Either Level 2 or Level 1 will work. Go with Level 2 for a healing bonus, but stick to Level 1 if you want more crit damage.

Your W Ability is what you will leave in reserve. Only use it when he’s gearing up to punch you. It lets you block damage and status effects while reflecting damage at Sett.

Also, whenever Sett is down, he will use his W Ability. It can end the fight for you. Quickly press your E + Q attack to counter it, and you can beat Sett in Tournament of Souls Expert Mode.
