Becoming a doctor in the real world takes upwards of ten years or more while also spending countless hours studying for various exams in medical school. Unfortunately, BitLife doesn’t make it any easier. There’s still a lot that goes into becoming a doctor of any kind in the game. So, let’s dive into how to become a Doctor in BitLife.

Becoming a Doctor requires the same education upbringing as you’d expect. Follow these instructions for the best chance at becoming a Doctor in BitLife:

  1. Study as hard as you possibly can while in school.
  2. Go to college to study either Psychology, Biology, or CHemistry.
  3. Attend Graduate School immediately after graduating.
  4. Go to Medical School once you’ve graduated from Graduate School.
  5. Get a job in the medical field!

Study, Study, Study

When in school, regardless of whether it’s middle school or high school, study every chance you get. To do this, follow these instructions:

  1. Select the School button on the bottom left of the character’s play screen, above their stats.
  2. Click on your school at the very top of this window.
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and select the Study Harder option.

You’ll slowly see the meter that determines how well you’re doing in school rise.

Go to College

After high school, immediately go to college for four years and study one of the following majors:

  • Chemistry.
  • Biology.
  • Psychology.

It doesn’t matter how you pay for school. In a few years, your job as a physician will cover this.

Go to Graduate School

After college, attend Graduate School for two years. You won’t be asked for a major, so don’t worry about that. Similarly to college, it does not matter how you plan on paying for it. You’ll soon be rolling in that doctor money.

Attend Medical School

The hardest part of this is attending Medical School for eight years. You can do this by following these instructions:

  1. Click on the Occupation button on the bottom left corner of the character play screen.
  2. Select the Education option.
  3. Scroll to Medical School and select it.

A lot can happen in that time, and you’ll need to study incredibly hard to ensure your future as a Doctor. I didn’t have any relationships or friends while I exclusively focused on being a Doctor, especially because of all the debt I initially had from going to school.

Get a Job

After you’ve done everything listed above, you’re free to apply to a job as a Family Physician. Follow these instructions to do that:

  1. Click on the Occupation button on the bottom left corner of the character play screen.
  2. Click on the Jobs option.
  3. Scroll through the jobs and select the one you’d like to apply to.
  4. Pass the interview and start getting paid!
