Want to know how to Block and Parry in Naraka Bladepoint? As a battle royale game, Naraka Bladepoint‘s main gameplay is focused mainly on 1v1 PvP battles. As various martial arts masters, each character has different abilities and stats. Therefore, during combat, you will need not only to use your skills but also to think over the battle strategy in advance. Luckily, all players can Block and even Parry attacks in Naraka Bladepoint. However, this feature works with some limitations. So, read on to learn everything you need to know about Parrying.
How to Block In Naraka Bladepoint
With a dynamic combat system, every Naraka Bladepoint battle is unique. Despite the variety of weapons attacks, you can Block them. However, you must know how the mechanic works.
First of all, there is no Block in Naraka Bladepoint. It would be more correct to say there is no separate Block skill since you can still defend yourself from an opponent’s attacks. To do this, you will have to learn Parry.
Parry allows you to defend against an attack and even knock back or disarm your enemy. But as we said, this feature has limitations. Namely, you can only Block/Parry Blue Focus attacks. For most weapons, the third and final hit in a combo is the Focus strike. Therefore, you must first endure a few common attacks to have the opportunity for Block and Parry.
How to Parry in Naraka Bladepoint
So, all you have to do is wait for the enemy to start glowing with a blue aura while doing a combo. At the same moment, you must hold down both attack buttons to activate the “Parry Mode” in Naraka Bladepoint. Your character will begin to glow with a red aura:
- PC – Press the left and right mouse buttons.
- PS5 – Press R1 and L1 triggers.
- Xbox – Press RB and LB triggers.
If you do everything right, you will not take damage and even knock back the enemy. However, you need to time it correctly, as “Parry Mode” is active for only approximately a second. It’s also worth noting that you can Parry while jumping or crouching. We suggest you avoid spam Parrying in Naraka Bladepoint. Experienced players can counter attack this by ending combos before Focus attacks. Conversely, you can use this knowledge as an advantage as well.
That’s all you need to know about Blocks and Parrying in Naraka Bladepoint. You may need time to learn how to properly use this skill. But it plays a crucial role in our survival. So, follow our advice to learn how to Parry as quickly as possible. And while you are here, take a look at our guide on how to get Hero Coins in Naraka Bladepoint.
