Welcome To Bloxburg is finally available for everyone to play on Roblox, which means learning how to play it. One of the first things the tutorial asks you to do is add things to your home and build. It’s no secret how daunting building can actually be when you get down to it. Consideirng so, I’ve written out how to build in Welcome to Bloxburg and what you should consider while doing so.

To build anything in Welcome to Bloxburg, you need to follow these instructions:

  1. Select the house icon on the bottom left-hand corner.
  2. A new window will appear, in which you will then select the Build Mode option.
  3. A new window feature will open up, and to build walls, you will need to select on the top-most Build button.
  4. On the window to the right-hand side of the screen, select the icon that looks like a house with a roof to remove the roofs and see inside the home.
  5. In the new window that appears, select the Walls button.

You’l then be able to create walls anywhere on your property, so long as you have the funds.

Adding Floors

To add floors, follow the same building instructions as adding walls. Additionally, follow these instructions after reaching the fourth step:

  1. Select the Floor button instead of Walls.
  2. Select where in a closed room you’d like to add a wall. The floor will automatically fill in the area.

To build a roof in Welcome to Bloxburg, you need to select the Roof option instead of the Walls or Floor. Similarly to the Floors, you will select where the roof goes over an area of the house that has all of the walls. You won’t be able to build a roof over an area that isn’t completed.

Changing Wall / Floor Colors

To change to color of anything you want in your house, follow these instructions:

  1. After selecting the build mode feature, select the item you want to paint.
  2. Select the paint pallet button on the bottom-right hand corner of the screen.
  3. A color wheel will appear that will allow you to change both the color and the material.
