As is the case of life simulator games, from Animal Crossing to Disney Dreamlight Valley, in Stardew Valley, too, you can acquire various natural resources for crafting, cooking, and other uses. Some are easy to find, while others are trickier. If you need help finding those rare ones, here’s where and how you can catch the elusive Void Salmon in Stardew Valley.
Where and How to Catch a Void Salmon in Stardew Valley
Void Salmon can only be caught in the Witch’s Swamp. It is near the Spa in the underground, unlocked after you have completed the “Dark Talisman” Quest. Although its spawn is limited, you can catch it during all Seasons, times of day, and any weather. However, catching one is pretty tricky, no thanks to its 80 Difficulty Score. Use the Iridium Fishing Pole, Bait, and Trap Bobbers to maximize your chance of catching a Void Salmon.
According to Reddit user Lord_Sicarious, the best spot to catch a Void Salmon is somewhere in front of the Witch’s Hut. Specifically, you want to stand just below the tile with red spots (flowers?) on it. Then cast your Fishing Pole as far out to the right as possible. This should net you Gold Star Void Salmon often or even Iridium Star Void Salmon on a Perfect Catch.
Void Salmon Uses in Stardew Valley
Void Salmon shouldn’t be used as a Gift since no Villagers Like it, and most actually Dislike it. In particular, Evelyn, Haley, and Pierre actually Hate it. Nevertheless, Void Salmon still has its uses:
- Fish Pond:
- When put in a Fish Pond, they will produce Void Salmon Roe every four days.
- The Missing Bundle:
- Gold or Iridium Void Salmon may be used for The Missing Bundle in the abandoned JojaMart.
- Reward: Movie Theater.
