Vulpix is another well-known Pokemon that has been with the franchise since the very beginning and returns in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask. In the anime, Vulpix was one of Brock’s go-to Pokemon, and it can be yours too! Considering that, we have written out how to catch and evolve Vulpix and Ninetales in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask.
How to Catch Vulpix in The Teal Mask
There are quite a few places across the Kitakami map where you can easily find a Vulpix. In our attempt, we found one on the southeast end of the map just east of Mossui Town and northwest of Mossfell Confluence. There were a few other finds from earlier games including Spinarak and Hoothoot in the same area as the Vulpix we caught. When you catch it and add it to your Kitakami Dex, it will be registered as number 37. After spending some time with Vulpix in battles, you’ll notice that no matter how strong it gets, it never seems to evolve level after level. We wrote out exactly how to evolve Vulpix into Ninetales in The Teal Mask.
How to Evolve Vulpix Into Ninetales in The Teal Mask
You can evolve Vulpix into Ninetales by introducing a Fire Stone to Vulpix. You can pick up this stone in a variety of ways including the following:
- Delibird Presents in Cascarrafa, Lavincia, and Mesagoza for 3,000 coins.
- As a reward for catching and registering 60 Pokemon.
- Stumbling across them throughout the overworld in the form of shining objects on the ground.
