Regardless of what game you’re playing, if you have the option to make choices such as pickpocketing people and customize your character, then there is probably the opportunity to change your haircut. Some games even let you change the appearance of your character as a whole. In Starfield, both of these options are completely possible, making the game and all of its characters that much more interesting. If you don’t already know how to, we outlined below exactly how to change your haircut and appearance in Starfield. It’s a simple, fast travel away.

Changing your haircut happens at the same time that you change your appearance. Considering that, you don’t have to go to an in-game barber or salon in order to change your haircut. All you have to do is locate the Enhance! store in any major city, like New Atlantis, and speak with the doctor there. The doctor will then give you the option to change your appearance for the measly price of 500 Credits. At that point, you’ll be able to change your character’s appearance and their haircut as you see fit. Once that has happened, you’ll be able to freely roam the universe in the appearance that you most prefer. Sometimes, being able to change your appearance also means being able to change your gender to one that you prefer.

Can You Change Your Gender In Starfield?

Technically, you can change your gender, but that isn’t what the game calls it. When you are creating your character, you can choose a body type that best represents the one that you would prefer. Considering this, there aren’t genders that you can choose so much as the shape of the body that you like the most. You are able to change your body type while at the Enhance store and are changing other aspects of yourself.

You’re even able to change things such as your walk style and your skin tone if you genuinely feel that the one you currently have does not fit your standards. You are also able to change your pronouns during this period of time as well as your name, making it available for you to begin your Starfield adventure as one type of character and end it as a completely different one to mark your personal changes throughout your adventure. After that, you’ll be able to change your character appearance in Starfield whenever you’d like.
