Are you desperately seeking ways to change your name in PUBG Mobile? Perhaps you just created an account and are stuck with a name you misspelled or later disliked. Maybe you’ve played long enough and have grown tired of the same nickname. When the game initially started, your name was set in stone. Thankfully, updates have allowed you to switch it with someone else. However, there are some rules and requirements you should be aware of.

There can be any number of reasons why you seek to change your name in PUBG Mobile. Be aware of one thing first if you’re creating an account. If you create one through Facebook, you can get stuck with your Facebook name. If you don’t want to run around the game with your personal name on display, you should consider changing it.

You can redo your name as long as you have a Rename Card. These Cards are just as their name implies. If you use them, you can easily input a new name. Follow the steps below to get it done:

  1. Open the app and head to the main menu.
  2. Go to your Inventory and select the crate icon at the top right corner.
  3. Select your Rename Card and enter a new name.

You can only use this PUBG Mobile name change trick once per day. Also, you can’t do anything if you don’t have any Rename Cards in the first place. So, stock up on them just in case you ever change your mind about your name. Besides, names mean everything in the online gaming world. Pick one that counts.

Earn Rename Cards To Change Name in PUBG Mobile

There are a handful of ways you can earn Rename Cards to change your name in PUBG Mobile. Doing so ensures you always have a backup whenever the itch comes to switch up your name to fit your character better.

For free Rename Cards, you can complete missions to gain them. Only missions from Level 1 to Level 10 will count and earn you Rename Cards. If you’re beyond that level, you can use Crew Points gained during Crew Challenges. Select the “Crew” option from the main screen and head to the shop. You’ll spend 200 Crew Points on a Rename Card.

Otherwise, you can shell out money for a Rename Card. In the shop, they are worth 180 UC each. If you don’t have any of the in-game currency, you can purchase a pack of 60 UC for $0.99. Three of them should cost you under $3.00, giving you enough UC for the Rename Card.
