How To Claim the Early Adopter Rewards in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

An adventurer’s headstart

RuneScape: Dragonwilds brings a nice incentive for players who buy the head start before its 1.0 release, and that is the Early Adopter Rewards. Anyone who gets this title will get two armor pieces, one furniture piece, and two music tracks. While they are not the best in the game, they are a nice way of showing your support for Jagex’s new venture. However, the store page doesn’t tell you how to obtain them. Here, we’ll tell you how to get these rewards, as well as what to do in case you’re not seeing them once you enter your world.

How To Obtain the Early Adopter Rewards

To get the Early Adopter Rewards in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you only need to craft them. There aren’t a lot of requirements for them. Actually, there isn’t even a material cost tied to them at all. You only need to head to your crafting table to craft the two armor pieces and then open the building menu for the last one. For the music tracks, you’ll find them in your library (outside of the game), and those are usable inside the game. However, there have been a few reports of players not seeing the option to craft the Early Adopter Rewards. If you’re experiencing that, we’ve found the solution.

How To Fix the ‘Rewards Not Showing Up’ Issue

At first, we thought it was a matter of leveling up certain skills or unlocking the rewards as a recipe, but that wasn’t the case. Then, we thought our character was bugged, so we created a new one in a new world. That didn’t help either. What we noticed is that we were playing the game offline. This means that we didn’t choose the option to link the game with our Epic Games account. Once we did that, the rewards showed up in our crafting menu.

It is uncertain if this was what we had to do from the start, as it was an entirely different issue. Yet, once we connected through Epic Games, everything showed up, so it seems like the most plausible solution. In any case, you can just craft these items and equip them while you explore around Ashenfall. Of all the rewards, the cape is the best one, as it provides a bit of protection, so it is quite useful until you unlock better armor.
