If you find yourself in the city of Neon on Volii Alpha within the Volii system, there is a good chance that you will meet Neshar. He’s a man you’ll encounter at the entrance who is being arrested for smuggling Aurora from off-world. He’ll ask you for help, landing you in a part-time position working for Xenofresh to make Aurora. Below, we outlined exactly how to complete a Xenofresh shift and make Aurora in Starfield with the skills you currently have.

You will first need to head to the city of Neon. Here, you will need to speak with Neshar, who will point you in the direction of a man named Yannick Legrande. This individual is developing his own alcohol called Blend. The concoction requires Aurora, and now that Neshar, his supplier, has been arrested, he has no way of obtaining it until now.

After applying to Xenofresh and being given a uniform for the first day of work, you will be asked to complete your first shift. You will be given a practice run, but after that, you’ll be on your own.

To make Aurora during Xenofresh Shift in Starfield, you’ll be placed in front of a conveyor belt. When your supervisor tells you that a new set of materials will be dispersed on the conveyor belt, you must act fast:

  1. A box full of materials will roll down the belt and stop. You will need to grab everything from the belt and rush it over to the Pharmaceutical Lab directly to the left of the belt.
  2. After you’ve crafted the items you need to prepare here, you will need to head to the other end of the room to the Assembly Hopper, where you will then dump the contents.
  3. You are paid 400 credits each time you do this, and you’re promised a bonus or a promotion if you work hard and do well. However, we have never received that bonus after having tried several times.

There are a few other ways to obtain and make Aurora in Starfield, but this is how you will need to do it in order to successfully complete this job.
