The Abandoned Vehicle DMZ mission is a new assignment added in Warzone 2 Season 5 update. This mission is for the Shadow Company, led by Commander Graves. As it turns out, General Shepherd still owns the company for various assignments. And now, we are the ones on the field to complete their objectives. In the Abandoned Vehicle mission, we need to get an MRAP-heavy vehicle and make it run. MRAP vehicles need a particular key to start working in DMZ mode.

You can find MRAP vehicles in random spots scattered around Al Mazrah city. To find an MRAP vehicle’s location, you have to open your tac map in Al Mazrah and look for its unique-looking icon. However, once you’ve located one, your journey to acquiring a key begins!

The hard part about this mission is that you’ll need to have $200,000 cash in order to buy the MRAP’s key. The key is available in the Buy Stations, and its price is sky-high. Alternatively, you can find this key inside the buildings and restricted areas as ground loot. But as it’s quite a rare find, it’s better to earn the money to buy it.

One way of finding more cash in the DMZ mode is completing contracts. The Secure Nuclear Material contract and Destroy Supplies contract are good ways to earn currency. You can also finish running a Signal Intelligence contract, which will give you an upcoming amount of money every few seconds. Raiding Strongholds is another option for more rewards and easy money. But once you’ve found enough money, it’s time to get back to the mission.

Purchase the key from a Buy Station, and then enter the MRAP to complete the Abandoned Vehicle mission in Season 5. Completing this mission gives you a 30min weapon double XP token, with 5,000 XP to progress in the game. You’ll also gain 100 reputation points for completing this Shadow Company mission.
