The newest Genshin Impact version 4.0 launched a huge variety of new items, characters, and a slew of other items for the game. Of these new updates is a quest titled Ann’s Story from ‘Ann of the Narzissenkreuz Act II: Kingdom Through the Looking-Glass’. It’s also the only quest in that series. Complete Ann’s Story – Walkthrough

Ann’s Story is a world quest that you will receive in Fontaine. It follows Ann, a strange creature, as she looks to find the princess who the dragon of the castle is imprisoning. To start it, you will need to move through the dungeon and keep moving forward with Ann until you’ve reached a room with a sword. This sword is the Holy Blade, and you’re going to need it if you have any chance of moving forward. It’s locked within a seal, so you’re going to want to use the Green Feather Accessory to break the seal.
A cutscene will commence after you continue moving forward, in which you all come across a dragon known as Narcissus. The dragon is at level 87, so you might want to stock up on resources before you dive into this battle. After a long and gruesome battle, Ann and Paimon will determine that there is still a single room that hasn’t been searched through for clues considering that there is no princess to be seen. When you make it to your next destination, you’ll find a picture book that Paimon will read out loud.
Ann’s Story Ending
Paimon will feel confused and ask you to read the rest, prompting you all to get sucked into the book itself to the world of Annapausis. A voice will speak out to you, Paimon, and Ann to come closer, which will them prompt a different cutscene altogether. This will then end the quest and begin ‘Act III: If She No Longer Dreams of You…’ which also prompts the quest to then be named Mary-Ann’s Story. You’ll receive the ‘And After That’ achievement once the quest has been completed. That’s all you’re going to want to know when it comes to completing the Ann’s Story Genshin Impact quest.
