The Call to Arms event of Destiny 2 has finally begun, and you know what that means: weapons, titles, rewards, a lot of gear, and one quest to help you understand everything coming with this limited-time event. Contrary to other quests, this one is pretty short and just serves as a tutorial to let you know the steps you need to take to start hoarding some gear. Here are all the steps of the Armament Protocol quest in Destiny 2.

How To Start Armament Protocol

Many veteran Guardians out there might already know the answer to this and any other event quest that appears, but to start Armament Protocol in Destiny 2, all you need to do is head to the Tower and speak with good old Devrim Kay. After that, you must complete these quests:

Step 1: Open a Daily Shipment chest at the Tower and complete an activity to acquire an attuned weapon.

  • The first step involves talking to Devrim to grab the quest and select your Attuned Weapon. You can swap weapon attunement freely. Just keep in mind that you’ll only be able to complete this quest if you get the actual weapon. If you don’t, keep repeating any of the PvE activities or the only PvP one.

Step 2: Complete a Call to Arms Crucible match or Solo Ops activity.

  • A pretty easy step. Open your Portal UI and select any activity there. For faster rewards, we recommend the PvP one. You can earn a lot of Engrams if you have a good enough team for these matches.

Step 3: Claim the first reward from the Event Reward Track.

  • This is very self-explanatory. Go to the Reward Track and get the first reward. Usually, it takes two matches to get the Rank 1 reward, so queue to whichever you prefer.

Step 4: Complete and claim a Daily Challenge from the Call to Arms Event Home.

  • Since Daily Challenges will change depending on when you participate in the event, we won’t list them here. However, you can find your challenges in the Event’s menu. Most of them give bonus points by using specific weapons, so keep that in mind.

Step 5: Return to Devrim Kay at the Tower.

  • Lastly, speak with Devrim Kay to complete the quest.

As you can see, completing Armament Protocol in Destiny 2 isn’t challenging at all, and you’ll actually be completing all these steps just by playing normally. If you want a full guide of the event, you can check it here, where we listed all weapon rewards and a few others you can get in the Reward Track.
