Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste is a quest within the new Genshin Impact version 4.0 that requires you to travel a bit around the map. Like many other quests available in this new version of the game, you’ll have to do a bit of digging and running around to find an artist named Salsa. You’ll need to locate five paint canvases across the open world to do this. So, we outlined exactly how to complete Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste in Genshin Impact.
Completing Good Stuff But Terrible Taste Quest In Genshin Impact
The Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste quest can be started after reaching the location of the very first canvas. Salsa will appear and begin the quest, prompting you to search for the other four canvases. Each canvas provides a quick puzzle for you to solve before you are rewarded with a chest and that specific canvas area completed. We’ve outlined exactly where these canvases are above. The individual locations have been marked with yellow stars.
Completing Good Stuff But Terrible Taste Puzzles in Genshin Impact
Each of these locations has a puzzle attached to it. Considering that, we also wrote out how to solve each of these puzzles. There is no concrete way of doing these puzzles, but we numbered them for the sake of writing this guide.
- Location #1
- Using the Teleport Waypoint to the west of the Court of Fontaine, you will want to head north until you see the canvas. Here, you will want to switch to an Anemo character and spin the Windmill Mechanisms that you’ll see behind the canvas. When the Exquisite Chest appears, open it up and Salsa will appear.
- Location #2
- You’ll want to go to the Teleport Waypoint northwest of the Statue of the Seven. Then, glide towards the road to the west to get to the canvas. Move the two Water Volume Detection Crystals toward the middle and then activate them using Miraculous Hydrograna. Once finished, the Exquisite chest will appear.
- Location #3
- Teleport to the Teleport Waypoint at the Berly Region Statue of the Seven and then head south until you see the canvas. Here, you will need to hit the Crystal Mechanism that you should see with a bow-wielding character to create a blue floor to walk on to follow a path. Once completed, you’ll be rewarded with an Exquisite Chest to open.
- Location #4
- If you’ve already fought the Emperor of Fire and Iron, then you’re going to want to return to that area and go west until you see the canvas. Once you do, you’ll want to pick up the Ousia blocks and use them to attach the Pheumousia Relay until they all turn green. The Exquisite Chest will appear shortly afterward.
- Location #5
- You’ll want to head to the West Sloped of Mont Automnequi Teleport Waypoint and head southwest until you see the canvas. You’ll also run into more Water Volume Detection Crystals. Put a cultivated Miraculous Hydrogana in the container and then activate the other crystals by using your Hydro Skills. You’ll see the Exquisite Chest open up after.
After you’ve completed all five of the puzzles, you can teleport to the Echoes of Deep Tides domain. You will immediately be met with a Hydro Pillar puzzle. Just install a Hydro Core and use your Hydro Skills to activate the pillars to make another Chest appear as well as a cutscene. You will then be rewarded with 20 Primogen and 25,500 Mora
