Hook’s Gift in Honkai Star Rail is the third mission of the “Slices of Life Before the Furnace” quest. In this mission, players join back with Hook, whom you meet in the mission of Old Foreman’s Treasure quest. This time, you will try to sell Hooks’ teddy bear, Jun Jun, at the Auction. These mission steps are not very difficult, but they take some time since you must travel to various game locations. What is Hook’s Gift?

Hook’s Gift is the last companion mission in the Hook quest chain, and you must complete two previous quests from Hook, Old Brigadier’s Treasure and Little Hook’s Treasure, to access this quest. Once you have completed it, you will get a message from Hook to your phone.
The message has an advertisement for an auction, and the quest begins once you read the message. The rewards for this mission include 350 Trailblaze EXP, 60 Stellar Jades, the Teddy Bear Jun Jun, 6 Adventure Logs, 200 Shields, one Underground, and 20,000 Credits.

Completing Hook’s Gift in Honkai Star Rail?
You can complete Hook’s Gift in Honkai Star Rail by doing some tasks at the Auction and the Boulder Town. Here are the steps you need to follow.
- Go to Boulder Town and get information about the Auction from the Auction Staff.
- Visit Hook and discuss the information you found about the Auction.
- Go to Natashas’ Clinic and get the Teddy bear.
- Visit the Auction at Jarilo VI-Robot Settlement and meet the Auctioneer.
- Talk with three buyers marked with the objective marker: Reticent Vagrant, Gemologist, and Weird Man.
- Talk to the Auctioneer and wait until the Auction begins. The Auction will stop after some time.
- Talk to the Auction Staff beside the Auctioneer. You will learn the Auction was stopped since one of the items, Geomarrow Probe, was stolen. This was the Gift that they were supposed to buy for Hook’s father in Honkai Star Rail.
- Go to the following Auction staff and find more information about the suspicious buyer, the Miner.
- Go back to Boulder Town and find the Suspicious Miner. He will attack you with his two robots.
- Defeat him and obtain the Geomarrow Probe.
- Return to the Auction and return the Geomarrow Probe to the Auction staff. You will get 200 Shields as a reward for finding it.
- Buy the Geomarrow Probe at the Auction for 750 Shields.
- Go back to Natasha’s Clinic and ask her to wrap the Gift.
- Go back to Hook and give the Geomarrow Probe to Fersman. You will complete the mission and receive the rewards.
