Theย Icebreakerย DMZ mission in Warzone 2 is a new Tier-2 Black Mous faction objective inย Season 4. With the new Season, the missions are reset, and this means there are brand new tasks to complete for each faction in DMZ. The Icebreaker mission tasks you to pick up the letter of introduction and a tracker from the Zoo dead drop in the Vondel map and put them in the Phalanx dead drop near the University. Sounds confusing? Here’s how to complete the Icebreaker DMZ mission in Warzone 2.

  • Pick up the router and documents from the Zoo POI dead drop.
  • Drop the items in the University dead drop in Vondel.

Now for this mission, you need to play in Vondel. This is a brand new map added in Warzone 2 Season 4, and it offers a different experience in a map that looks very much like Verdansk! And now, with the resetting of DMZ missions, most of the new objectives take place in this area, including the Black Mous’ Icebreaker.

This is a Tier-2 mission and only requires you to jump between two locations on the Vondel map. The first thing you need to do is to go to the location above. Once you get there, look for a dumpster, which is, in fact, a dead drop. Press the interaction button near it, and then store the items inside it in your backpack. This dead drop contains the letter of introduction and a tracker.

Next, you need to go to the location above to find the Phalanx’s dead drop. This location is, in fact, away from the labeled University location in Vondel. But still, this is the University dead drop you should be looking for. This would also come in handy for the next DMZ missions, as you would need to access these dead drops. Now once you’ve got there, just drop the items in the dead drop, and your mission is complete.

Unlike many other DMZ missions, you don’t need to exfil to complete the Icebreaker in Season 4. This mission does not include any fights, so probably the best you can do is to find a vehicle after spawning in the map. And after you’ve stored the items in the Phalanx dead drop near the University section, you can proceed to complete your other missions.

Call of Duty:ย Warzone 2ย andย Modern Warfare 2ย Season 4 has started.ย Warzone 2ย andย Modern Warfare 2 are available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Battle.Net.
