After arriving in Kuttenberg, you can begin your mission to find Liechtenstein. Given that Sigismund is hunting him, locating him won’t be easy. Fortunately, you can gather some information from Katherine. However, finding him will still be a challenge. You’ll need to track down an informant named Goatskin in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Into the Underworld quest. He, too, tends to hide, so you’ll have to find a way to draw him out.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Into the Underworld Quest Guide
You can start the Into the Underworld quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 by finding Katherine, who is currently located on the eastern side of the city. She’ll tell you to look for Goatskin at The Hole in the Wall Inn. You can try speaking with the innkeeper, but he will tell you that you need to find Chenyek. The man is not very cooperative, and you have three options to make him talk:
- Pay him 200 Groschen
- Pass a skill check
- Fight Goliath
How To Find Goatskin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Either way, Chenyek will eventually tell you that Goatskin got beaten up by some guys. He also informs you that you can find him around the Hradek and the Horse Market area at night. If you go to The Black Horse Tavern, you can speak with the innkeeper. He’ll tell you that one of the women working at the bathhouse is Goatskin’s girlfriend.
There are two women named Mary in the bathhouse, but you’re looking for Lousy Mary. She can help players track down Goatskin if you manage to convince her. Another way to find your target is to look for Udo. He’s a customer of the bathhouse, but he only shows up in the evening.
You can find him sitting at a table on the first floor in the Into the Underworld quest. You can play a round of dice with him, but what you want to do is convince him to go home. Afterward, you need to follow him from behind. He’ll be quite slow since he’s drunk, but as you pass through an alley, Goatskin will jump out from behind a cart.
Quickly stop the man from robbing Udo and confront him. He’ll try to pretend he knows nothing, but you need to ask some questions. To make him talk, you can choose the dialogue option: “I’ve got friends in high places. I can help you.” After exhausting all dialogue options, you can look for Samuel.
How To Find Samuel & Liechtenstein
Samuel can be found in two places, but I recommend looking for him during the day. Just follow the objective marker and talk to him. He’ll eventually order you to infiltrate the antisemites’ meeting. You will need to wait until nighttime before heading to the next area. Note that you should equip armor and a weapon before entering this location, as you’ll be ambushed.
Two men will attempt to attack Henry. Defeat them, and Samuel will show up to stop you from killing his men. After clearing up some misunderstandings, Samuel agrees to bring you to Liechtenstein.
A cutscene will play where you meet the noble. Talk to him about your situation, and he’ll tell you that you need to seek help from Lord Ruthard. If you revealed information about Liechtenstein to your enemies during torture, you should inform the nobleman truthfully, as it will raise your reputation.
After completing the Into the Underworld quest, you will start the Via Argentum mission. Lord Ruthard is located on the southwestern side of Kuttenberg City. You will need to help him deal with the mintmaster by investigating the missing silver.
