Left And Dry DMZ mission is the last Tier 2 assignment of the Redacted faction in Warzone 2. Completing this mission requires you to trade a valuable item, achieve a key, and successfully exfil with a laptop! Here’s a quick guide on how you can complete this mission.
What Are the Objectives of Left High and Dry DMZ Mission?
- Trade a GPU for the Skeleton Key.
- Use the Skeleton Key to open Sniper Team’s Hideout.
- Extract the Cartel Dossier item from the hideout.
We informed you in DMZ Season 3 changes post about the Skeleton Key and its use in this mode. However, achieving this key requires using the new Barter system to trade a valuable item, which varies on each map. Now for the first objective of the Left And Dry DMZ mission, you would need a Skeleton Key first.
As this mission’s objectives are in Al-Mazrah, you must find and trade a GPU in this map to get a skeleton key. A GPU can be found as ground loot anywhere on the map! Just look for the PCs in office-like buildings to find this item. Then you can trade it for a Skeleton Key in the But Station’s Barter menu. However, if you have a Secure Backpack and can transfer items between maps, maybe you try the Plan B as well.
In our second plan to get the Skeleton Key, you need to go to Building 21 and find three encrypted hard drives in exchange for the Skeleton Key. These drives are much easier to find in the small map of Building 21 than a GPU in Al-Mazrah. But you need a Secure Backpack to bring the Skeleton Key from Building 21 to Al-Mazrah. Afterward, you must head to Akhdar Village to find the Sniper Team’s hideout.

The location is shown in the image above. Its door is on the second floor, so you might want to climb up by a ladder or jump toward it from other buildings’ rooftops. Once you’re there, use the Skeleton Key to unlock the door, and then find an item called “Cartel Dossier.” Now all you have to do to complete the Left And Dry DMZ mission in Warzone 2 is to successfully exfil with the mentioned item.
Completing this mission grants access to Tier 3 Redacted faction missions in DMZ, with some extra XP to progress through the Battle Pass and level up. Remember that after this Left And Dry DMZ mission, you still have that Skeleton Key to use two more times on any map to open any door you want!
