After venturing into Central Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will come across the Meat for Meat quest. The Meat for Meat quest is a side quest given by Cooke, a grumpy old restaurant owner who, like many others in the area, has developed a taste for marbled rock roast. In the quest, you will have to find him a marbled rock roast. However easy it may be to find it, actually collecting it and bringing it back may prove to be difficult. Keep reading to learn how to complete the Meat for Meat Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

As you approach the Bedrock Bistro within Central Hyrule, near Goronbi Lake, you will notice Cooke fighting with someone else over some marbled rock roast. Having been one of the first times that you’ve likely encountered this new marbled rock roast, it might be a bit confusing. However, the bottom line is that between the two of them, one of their marbled rock roasts have gone missing and there needs to be another one to replace it. Your job is to be the one to replace it.

When you leave the Bedrock Bistro, head down the minecart tracks that lead toward a small lake. Once you arrive there, you will find someone bathing in the lake.

He will let you know that inside of the cave behind him, you can find marbled rock roast, but the temperatures within the cave are very high, and you have to have some heat resistance, lest you be burned to a crisp. The man will explain how to make an elixir that will help to prevent this. Though, wearing an article of clothing with heat resistance is just as effective. This will help you to complete Meat for Meat in Tears of the Kingdom flawlessly.

Head inside the West Restaurant Cave. Inside, you will find a decently large pool of lava in the way. Climb up to the edge of the platform, pictured above, and use your paraglider to glide to the other side of the lava.

Make note of the marbled rock roast in a pile in front of you. For now, head to your right up into an area where you can find a number of Zonai Devices that resemble fire hydrants.

Attack one of the devices and make sure it turns on, then head back down to the Lava pool. Using your water, create a path of stones to get back to the other side, then head back over to the pile of marbled rock roast.

After grabbing a marbled rock roast, make your way over your path once again and out of the cave. Head back to the Bedrock Bistro and turn in your quest item, completing Meat for Meat in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

This is everything you need to know about how to complete Meat for Meat in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
