To accept Misko’s Cave of Chests side quest, go to the eastern part of the game world to the huge Cephla Lake between the Eldin Canyon and Akkala Highlands. Next, go to the west Lake coast and find the Cephla Lake Cave entrance (you can find the exact coordinates in the image above). We advise you toย travel fast toย Kisinona Shrine and plan to goย east. Near the cave entrance, you will meet two familiar NPCs and accept Misko’s Cave of Chests side quest by talking with them.
Talking with Domidak and Prissen, you will learn that the cave is full of chests. But unfortunately, they did not find a real chest among the fake ones. To complete Misko’s Cave of Chests side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, find the real chest using one of the methods. Here’s how to do it.
First, you can enter the cave and open every chest. Some chests are in the walls, so you must use your Ultrahand to get them. But since there are only about 20 chests in the cave, it won’t take you long to open them all. And once you find Ember Trousers in the chest, you can talk to the NPC again to complete the quest.
The second way is much more interesting since the dog will help you to find the right chest. Approach the dog walking on the small camp opposite the cave entrance. You should throw meat or fruits to the dog to feed him enough. After eating a few pieces of food, the dog will go into the cave and point you to a real chest.
Whichever method you choose, it’s simple. However, once you find the Ember Trousers, you will trigger a cutscene with Domidak and Prissen. They will again be surprised at your skill and thank you for your help, after which you will complete Misko’s Cave of Chests quest.
