While exploring the Phantom Liberty DLC, V has to complete many new missions and a new storyline, but some side missions are so small that you might not notice them. One of these missions is New Person Same Old Mistakes, a direct continuation of the Waiting for Dodger side quest. At first glance, visiting a former policeman’s diner seems like a piece of cake, but the error that occurs and the valuable reward make this quest much more exciting. So we are here to help you and tell you how to complete New Person Same Old Mistakes in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

First, to accept the New Person Same Old Mistakes side quest, you must start the Phantom Liberty DLC and go far enough in the story to complete the Waiting for Dodger quest. Shortly after this, Bill will send you a message inviting you to his new biz. He left the police service, and you should become one of his first visitors.

To Complete New Person Same Old Mistakes in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, you only need to visit Bill’s Diner in The Glen (Heywood) and talk to him. But since this quest has some pitfalls, here’s what you should do:

  • To begin, as we said, read Bill’s message and go to The Glen Heywood following the quest point.
  • You can get to the desired location with your transport or fast travel to Ventura & Skyline and walk a little to reach Bill’s garage.
  • An essential clarification is the choice of response to Bill’s message. If you chose “Preem. What kinda biz?“, there is some chance that when you arrive at the desired garage, you will find a locked door. In this case, you must replay the mission from a previous save to correct this error. But most likely, you will not notice any problems if you select “Strapped from time rn, but will come eventually“.
  • Once you reach the garage, you will find Bill at the grill. He cooks hot dogs, and this is his new business.
  • You only need to talk to him. You will receive 2,000 Eddies as a reward for your help in previous quests. After this, you will complete New Person Same Old Mistakes.

However, do not rush to leave the diner because, with old military connections, Bill sells not only hot dogs. By paying 12,000 Eddies, you can buy Military-Grade Lactic Acid Recyclers. This item increases Stamina Regen Rate by 2, but more importantly, this effect is permanent and will stay with you forever. However, you can only use it once.
