Cyberpunk 2077 has been a rollercoaster of a game, with its expansive world and complicated storylines. With the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC, players have been introduced to a new side job titled ‘No Easy Way Out’. This guide will walk you through the mission and lead you on how to complete No Easy Way Out in Cyberpunk 2077.
To kick things off, you’ll need to have completed the opening missions of the Phantom Liberty DLC, particularly the quest named Spider and the Fly. Once done, you’ll receive a text from Coach Fred, asking you to assist his friend, Aaron. Head to the location marked on your map in Pacifica, Dogtown, near the Luxor High Wellness Spa fast travel point.
Upon arrival, you’ll find Aaron in a heated boxing match. If you’re feeling lucky, approach the bookie and place a bet on either Aaron or his opponent, Will. Streetkid lifepath players can even triple their bet for a chance at more Eddies.
After the fight concludes, approach Aaron for a chat. He’ll inform you about a scav base where a ripper named Damir might assist him. Accept his request, and make your way to Terra Cognita. It’s a bit of a journey, so it’s advisable to grab a vehicle.
Once you reach the location, wait for Aaron. You’ll then accompany him to the scav base. Stealth is an option, but if you’re feeling bold, you can go in guns blazing. The base is heavily guarded, so be prepared for a fight. The scav base is a maze of staircases and platforms. Your objective is to reach the top, where you’ll find the green double doors. After dealing with the final scav guarding the doors, Aaron will unlock them for you.
Inside, a cutscene will play between Aaron and Damir. Aaron will undergo an operation, and you’ll be asked to wait. Shortly after, Angie and her Animals crew will make an entrance, presenting you with a crucial choice.
The Big Decision
- Make a Deal with Angie: If you choose to cooperate with Angie, you’ll need to wait for her contact. After three in-game days, you’ll receive a text directing you back to the boxing ring. Angie will confirm that things remain unchanged, and you’ll receive your payment in Eddies.
- Kill Angie: Should you decide against Angie’s offer, you’ll have to eliminate her and her crew. After the confrontation, ensure you loot Angie’s body for the Cheetah Iconic Power Pistol. Exit the scav hideout and wait for a text from Aaron after three in-game days. He’ll ask you to meet him at the Dream Gig bar. Upon arrival, you’ll discover Aaron’s tragic fate in a back alley, concluding the mission.
No Easy Way Out Rewards
Depending on your choice, the rewards vary:
- For the Loot: Angie’s Cheetah Iconic Power Pistol is a high-damage sidearm with rapid-fire capabilities and enhanced critical hits. Ideal for those wanting firepower and style. Oppose Angie to claim this prize.
- For a Peaceful Approach: Choosing peace with Angie rewards you with Eddies, the in-game currency, allowing you to invest in other gear or upgrades.
