Would you like to know how to complete the Team Cece or Team Reede? side quest in the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? This Hateno Village side quest is unique because, instead of being your average fetch quest, this quest has you going around Hateno Village handing out favors. It’s not a terribly difficult quest to complete, but finding some of your targets can be a little tricky at times. If you’re wondering how to complete the Team Cece or Team Reede? side quest, this guide will help.
How to Get the Team Cece or Team Reede? Quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
In order to get the “Team Cece or Team Reede?” quest, travel to Hateno Village. The closest fast travel point is Zanmik Shrine or the Hateno Village Ancient Tech Lab if you have that unlocked. Once you get to Hateno, enter the village proper, and you’ll see a crowd of people in front of Cece’s boutique across the road from the equipment shop. Interact with the people, and they’ll eventually disperse, but talk to Sophie, the shopkeeper, and she’ll allow you inside the shop.
Enter the shop and talk to Cece, who will introduce you to her Cece brand and her mission to turn Hateno Village into a mushroom-based fashion hotspot. Your conversation will be interrupted by the arrival of Hateno Village’s mayor, Reede, who resents Cece for trying to take the village away from its pastoral roots. The two will launch into an argument that leads to Cece establishing a new mayoral election and enlisting you to sway the villagers to her side. She’ll give you eight Hylian Shrooms and explain that you need to give them to Reede’s supporters, who are scattered around the village.
Where to Find Reede’s Supporters in Team Cece or Team Reede?
Despite Hateno Village not having that many residents, identifying who you’re supposed to bribe with a Hylian Shroom can be difficult since the villagers move around during the day. The easiest way to identify Reede’s supporters is by finding everyone who isn’t wearing Cece’s mushroom fashion. Also, Reede’s supporters are mostly elderly or farmers and can largely be found around Hateno Pasture, just east of the main village. For a complete rundown of Reede’s supporters, check out our list below:
- Tamana: Tamana can usually be found sweeping near the village’s main near sunrise and sunset or tending her chickens near the West Well during the day. We had the best luck finding her near the village entrance first thing in the morning.
- Leop: Leop can be found inspecting the bulletin board in the middle of the village during the day or at the Ton Pu Inn at night.
- Worten: Worten is married to the innkeeper, Prima, and as such, can be usually be found hanging around the inn. We found him on the balcony outside during the day and manning the front desk at night.
- Uma: During the day, Uma can be found tending the fields near the Hateno Village School, northwest of the village. At night, she can be found in her home near the Zanmik Shrine.
- Medda: Medda can be found faithfully tending to his field of Hylian Tomatoes during the day or in his house, near the Hateno Village South Well, at night.
- Dantz: Dantz runs the farm east of Hateno Village and can usually be found near the stables during the day or in his house at night.
- Koyin: The location of Koyin, Dantz’s daughter, depends on whether or not you’ve completed the side adventure “A Letter to Koyin.” If you haven’t, then she can usually be found at the docks on the southern edge of Lake Sumac, near Hateno Pasture. If you’ve completed her quest, then Koyin can usually be found inside her home near the pasture.
- Tokk: Tokk usually takes his daily walks up to the Hateno Village Ancient Tech Lab, where he spends the day outside the building. At night and first thing in the morning, Tokk can be found at a cooking pot near Dantz’s home in Hateno Pasture.
With the last Hylian Shroom delivered, return to Cece in her boutique. Tell her you’ve handed out all her bribes, and she’ll reward you with a Big Hearty Truffle, officially marking the quest Team Cece or Team Reede? complete. Congratulations, but this isn’t the last you’ll hear of Hateno Village in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. For more Tears of the Kingdom quest guides, be sure to stay tuned to The Nerd Stash!
