The Calling Card mission in Warzone 2 DMZ is a Tier 1 Redacted faction assignment in Season 3. It tasks the players to find and kill the new Scavenger mini-boss in DMZ, and extract three of his Calling Cards along the way; However, locating this unique and new enemy AI and his cards isn’t easy. Here’s how you can find them!
What Are The Objectives of The Calling Card Mission in DMZ?
- Find 3 Scavenger Calling Cards
- Kill The Scavenger
Rewards:
- Sawah Hotel Room 302 Key – Al-Mazrah
- 5K XP
With the beginning of Warzone 2 and MW2 Season 3, many new additions to the DMZ mode have been added. One of which is the new mini-boss called the Scavenger. This enemy commander arrives in both Al-Mazrah and Ashika Island maps; However, finding him is kind of tricky since he can spawn anywhere on the map. This boss roams in a ghillie suit while looking for dead player backpacks.
The Scavenger loots the dead players and replaces their dog tags with an item called the “Calling Cards.” That’s what you must be looking for to complete your objectives of the Calling Card mission in Warzone 2 DMZ. These cards are likely the most hard-to-find items in the DMZ mode, but there are some workarounds that you can do to increase your chances.
Where to Find The Scavenger in DMZ
For the first objective of this mission, you need to wait for the Scavenger to hunt down enemy operators and replace their dog tags with the Calling Card. If you find and kill enemy players, the Scavenger will show up moments later. Then if you go back after a while and loot the killed players, you’ll find the Card on the left side of their backpack loot menu. You can also track the red circles around the map, indicating downed players’ backpacks. If you get close, you’ll find the corpse and the Calling Card inside the pack.
The good news is that you don’t need to find all three Cards in a single deployment. However, you ultimately need to find and kill the Scavenger in DMZ. As noted above, finding this boss is also quite challenging. Nevertheless, if you find and finish a Secure Intel contract, you’ll be able to track him easily on Ashika Island. Since Ashika Island is much smaller than Al-Mazrah, you’ll have an easier time encountering him. Also, if you find a Calling Card on an enemy corpse, you can track the Scavenger efficiently. In both cases, if you run a Secure Intel Contract or pick a Calling Card, the Scavenger’s icon will appear on your tac-map.
Remember, you need to exfil with the cards to finish the missions. Also, killing the Scavenger once will finish your second objective without the need to exfil. When you kill this mini-boss, you’ll see he’s holding a player’s weapon and has a Secure Backpack up for grabs! Storing anything on the Secure Backpack retains the items for your operator, even after death.
