While Henry’s main job is to save Hans and fight Sigismund’s army, he can also help investigate some crimes. During the Fifth Commandment quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you must uncover the identity of a serial murderer. This person has been attacking several girls for quite some time. Katherine is apprehensive about the issue and asks Henry to stop this string of murders.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 the Fifth Commandment Quest Guide
You can trigger the Fifth Commandment quest by speaking to Katherine in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. She will tell you about a series of murders. You will then need to talk to some people to gather more information.

The first person you should meet is the gravedigger. You will need to pass a Persuasion check to get him to talk. He’ll tell you everything he knows about the case. Once you’re done, head to the graveyard to enter the morgue.
During the day, you can find Alice’s friend crying beside her dead body—talk to her to gather more information. Finally, turn your attention to the corpse. Henry will need to examine the body thoroughly to gather as many clues as possible. You want to pay attention to the wounds on the neck and the chest.
After examining the corpse, head out to meet Lumir. He’s the lead investigator on the serial murder case. Unfortunately, after a string of failures, he has become depressed. To get him to talk, you need to give him a Hair o’ the Dog potion to sober him up. You can either brew this potion yourself or buy it from a shop.
The next person you need to talk to in the Fifth Commandment quest is Father Prokop. He’s usually at the graveyard, but he may also go to his house to eat. He can provide some basic information about the deceased women, but you can try to pass a skill check to gain additional details. He’ll mention that he took care of Jarka when she was a child. He will also share his suspicions, but you can safely ignore them.
Investigate What Happened to Stanya the Alehouse Maid
Your next objective in the Fifth Commandment quest is to discover what happened to Stanya, the Alehouse Maid. Head to the Hole in the Wall tavern and talk to Innkeeper Mole. He won’t talk until you bribe him with money. However, when he asks for more money a second time, you can pass a Persuasion check to avoid shelling out 50 coins.
Afterward, head to the Charcoal Burners’ camp south of Kuttenberg. Look for a bald man named Barton and pass another speech check to get him to talk about Stanya. Surprisingly, the girl is still alive and hiding inside a building at the Charcoal Burners’ camp. Unlike the others, she managed to avoid being killed. She can also provide more information about the murderer.
Find Out About Zdena the Thief’s Fate in the Fifth Commandment Quest
The second missing woman in the Fifth Commandment quest is Zdena. You need to speak with Strnad at the Hole in the Wall tavern. He’ll tell you to look for a man who worked at Bylany Mill. If you head there, the man will explain his dealings with Zdena.
If you have Mutt, you can ask for her scarf so you can order your dog to track her down. Either way, you need to go to the marked area, where you’ll find the woman’s corpse. The most significant item on her is an expensive ring, which she swallowed before she died.
Who’s the Murderer in the Fifth Commandment Quest?
Before meeting with Katherine and Lumir, you can also interrogate William the minstrel. The man has connections to several dead women and will share some information about them. Unfortunately, he’s not the culprit you’re looking for, so you can simply let him go.
Once you gather all the facts, reconvene with Katherine and Lumir. The two of them have their own suspicions. When asked who the murderer is, the answer is von Grolle. You will then need to sneak into his house and investigate. If you’ve completed the Ars Dimicatoria quest, you can simply pretend to be a sword master.
The item you’re looking for is the Trophies from Victims, which you can find in a room on the second floor. Since this single item isn’t enough proof, the three of them decide to set a trap. You just need to watch a cutscene where Katherine pretends to be pregnant. Afterward, she will be ambushed by an old lady and her servant at night. You will need to defeat the man before confronting von Grolle’s mother on the first floor.
You will have a chance to question Mandelina about her motives. In the end, you need to decide whether to let Katherine kill her or hand her over to the bailiff. It’s best to send her to the bailiff if you want to gain a good reputation.
