Want to know how to complete The Incomplete Stable side quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? While many side quests will help players increase their collection of rare weapons and items, others will help make your journey a little easier. Sometimes you want to park your horse and walk around, but parking it in the middle of a field is not the best solution. In this case, you can accept The Incomplete Stable quest to gain access to the stable. You can get this quest shortly after you start the Regional Phenomena quest line, and we are here to help you and tell you how to complete The Incomplete Stable in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: The Incomplete Stable Walkthrough

As we said, to accept The Incomplete Stable side quest, you must start the Regional Phenomena quest and travel to Central Hyrule. In the small settlement of Lookout Landing, you will meet two NPCs next to a small old stable. Talk to both NPCs to know their problem and how you can help. After that, a younger NPC named Karson will ask you to fix the stable roof, after which you accept The Incomplete Stable side quest.

To complete The Incomplete Stable side quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you must place a small plank on a stable roof. Here’s how to do it:

  • You will notice a small plank to the right of the stable behind NPC Karson. Grab it using the Ultrahand ability.
  • Go around the stable and jump over the haystacks to the roof. Once on the roof, you will immediately notice a problematic place without a plank. It’s good that your plank is perfect for this gap.

  • Rotate the plank to place it into the gap on the roof exactly like a puzzle and stick it.
  • As soon as you do this, Karson will be inspired by your success and finish building the stable after a few seconds. At this point, you will have completed The Incomplete Stable.

As a reward for your help with the construction, you can park your horse at Lookout Landing. Among all side quests, The Incomplete Stable is one of the easiest. After all, all you need is to put one plank on the stable roof, and you will need no more than a couple of minutes for this.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
