Whether you are looking to unlock the final upgrades for your Broom or advance your progression of Hogwarts Legacy’s main storyline, “It’s All Gobbledegook” is a quest you will eventually need to complete. You will be able to accept this quest after saving a dragon with Poppy and clearing Professor Weasley’s Assignment. “It’s All Gobbledegook” involves traveling to The Mine’s Eye, a Goblin mine where Ranrok’s Loyalists are constructing massive drills to dig into the magic repository beneath Hogwarts. Your job is to investigate the mine with Amit and discover evidence that these sinister plans are coming to fruition.

To complete the “It’s All Gobbledegook” quest in Hogwarts Legacy, you must first talk with Amit, who can be found studying in the observatory of The Astronomy Wing. You will explain to your fellow student that you need his ability to understand Gobbledegook, after which he will agree to meet you at The Mine’s Eye with Lodgok.

As you might expect, The Mine’s Eye in Hogwarts Legacy‘s “It’s All Gobbledegook” quest is anything but safe and involves sneaking past or fighting through the Loyalist defenses patrolling the mine. Oddly enough, you will not encounter any guards near the entrance, but you must activate a lift using Incendio on a boiler to access the deeper sections of the mine. After using Accio to pull yourself across a gap atop a block platform, you will encounter several hostile Goblins. Once they have been disposed of, cast Disillusionment to open the gate with the giant eyeball to proceed.

Follow the quest marker to the next main chambers, where you will need to clear out several more Loyalists patrolling the area. The first primary room will have another boiler that you must activate using Incendio before casting Accio to pull open a tunnel gate. Continue through the underground pathways to reach another spacious room with enemies. Opposite the chamber’s entrance, you will encounter any “eyeball door” that can be opened after you approach the entryway using the Disillusionment Spell. Inside the final room, you will find Ranrok’s blueprints for the advanced drills. You can leave the mine and complete Hogwarts Legacy‘s “It’s All Gobbledegook” by casting Incendio on the boiler in the room with the blueprints and turning left outside the room’s entrance. Use Accio on the mechanism to activate the lift leading back to the mine’s entrance.

Hogwarts Legacy is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and PC.
