The Nameless Nest temple puzzle is only the first of a plethora of puzzles in Remnant 2. These puzzles offer a wonderful change of pace from the constant chaos of running and gunning – but don’t be fooled. Despite being a small part of the game, they can range from being minor roadblocks to full-on brain-busters. The dungeon in question will offer a significantly bigger challenge than the previous zones, so be sure to come prepared! That being said, here is how to complete the Remnant 2 Nameless Nest temple puzzle.
Temple Puzzle Setup
Upon entering The Nameless Nest, make your way to the large tower directly in front of the first checkpoint. This is where you will find the Temple Puzzle. Eliminate any enemies that are nearby to avoid any distractions or untimely deaths, as this next part requires total concentration. Once at the foot of the tower, step on the pressure plate to activate the lift, only be sure to back out immediately to send the elevator up on its own.
As the lift goes up, players will see four unique symbols on the ascending wall. It is important to memorize each one of these symbols, as they are the key to unlocking the rest of the puzzle. If this proves to be too difficult, it may be worth your time to record the process; that way, no memorization is needed. Feel free to send the elevator up and down as many times as necessary.
Solving the Remnant 2 Temple Puzzle
Once you have sufficiently captured the four symbols, head back down the steps toward where you began. Engraved in the foot of the tower and between both staircases is an illusionary door, a Remnant 2 staple. It should be fairly obvious once players know what to look for, and it requires no interaction to activate- simply run right through the concrete wall to enter the secret area.
At this point, interact with the large dial at the center of the room to solve the rest of the puzzle. Players will need to match up the symbols on the dial with what they saw at the tower with exactness. For reference, the top of the outermost ring should match up with the highest symbol on the elevator. Similarly, the top symbol of the innermost ring should line up with the lowest symbol on the lift. It’s a bit confusing, but nothing that a bit of trial and error can’t fix!
The Blooming Heart Relic
The reward for solving the Remnant 2 temple puzzle is pretty stellar, especially if you are playing with a friend group. The Blooming Heart Relic spawns 4 healing orbs upon use for players to use at their discretion and automatically applies one to the caster. It is a bit more risky than some of the other relic options, but is very powerful when used correctly.
