This week’s BitLife challenge drops you straight into the pages of a manga. We’re talking transcontinental travel, intense military promotions, naval mischief, and surviving a literal shipwreck. The Shipwrecked Shogun Challenge won’t be an easy one to complete. This challenge will require a bit of strategy, luck, and a splash of chaos. Let’s take a look at how to complete the Shipwrecked Shogun Challenge in BitLife.

Shipwrecked Shogun Challenge Tasks

Before we jump right into completing the challenge, let’s take a look at the tasks we’re up against this week:

  1. Be born in the United Kingdom
  2. Emigrate to Japan
  3. Become a General in the Japanese Army
  4. Own a pirate ship
  5. Survive shipwreck

Be Born in the United Kingdom

If you weren’t already born in the United Kingdom, you’ll need to head over to the Activities tab and Surrender your current life before starting a new Custom life. From that point, where you choose to start your life must be the United Kingdom. Beyond that, you can choose your own gender, place, and any attributes you’d like. Though, it’d be beneficial to set your Heath attribute to 100% to ensure you make it into the Japanese Army and are capable of surviving a shipwreck.

Emigrate to Japan

Once you’re at least 18 years old, head over to the Activities tab and select the Emigrate menu. From there, choose Japan as your destination. If you get denied, try again the next year until you make it to Japan.

Become a General in the Japanese Army

Once you’ve made it into Japan, it’s time to get serious. Head into the Occupations tab and select the Military option. From there, enlist in the Army. To make your way up to the General rank, you’ll need to put in quite a few years and keep on your best behavior. Make sure you spend plenty of time working out in the Mind & Body menu, and be successful in any deployments you go on. You can easily pass these by watching a video when prompted instead of just winging it.

Own a Pirate Ship

After you’ve spent quite a bit of time in the army and you’v3e accumulated a decent bit of cash, head over to the Assets tab and choose the Go Shopping option. Select the boat dealership from there and scroll through the options until you find an available Pirate Ship. If you can’t find one, just age up a year and try again until you find one. After one shows up for you, make sure you buy it, and head over to the Activities tab to get your boating license.

Survive a Shipwreck

The more you take your Pirate Ship out of the water, the higher the chance you will experience a shipwreck. These events are pretty random, so be sure to keep trying until it finally happens. When it does, you’ll have a series of choices you can make that will either ensure your survival, or make sure you don’t make it out alive. Choose wisely.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
