This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Sky is the Limit is one of the few Side Quests you’ll have to learn how to complete in order to get broom upgrades in Hogwarts Legacy. Though, it isn’t the easiest one, that’s for sure. As you progress through Albie Weekes’ Side Quests, they will get harder and you’ll have to put in some extra effort each time.

This Side Quest specifically is for the second broom upgrade, and will pave the way for the third. However, you’ll have to travel over 5,000 m just to get to the location in which you will test out the upgrade, so be ready to spend a decent amount of time here. Keep reading to learn how to complete The Sky is the Limit in Hogwarts Legacy.

Before you begin this quest, you’ll have to make sure of a few things. You’ll have to make sure you have completed two different Quests: The Sweeping the Competition Side Quest, and the In the Shadow of the Mine Main Quest. Albie Weekes will send you an Owl letting you know that he’s ready for you to come back and speak with him about Broom Upgrades.

Head into Hogsmeade and speak to Albie Weekes at his broom shop. He will tell you that another broom upgrade is available and ask you to purchase it. When you view his wares, you will find that the upgrade costs 4,000 Galleons. Purchase the upgrade and it will automatically be equipped to your broom. Once you’re finished, he will ask you to go speak with Imelda Reyes again, like you did for the previous Albie Weekes Side Quests.

Imelda will be on the far Southeastern portion of the map, near Marunweem. The fastest way to get here is to fast travel to a nearby Floo Flame and fly the rest of the way. When you speak with Imelda, she will tell you that she’s got a new time for you to beat in this trial, and you’ll have to be on your toes if you want to beat her.

For the trial, you’ll be racing against a flying dummy. Though, the dummy is much faster than you, so you will have to rely on flying through the yellow orbs in the sky before each ring in order to gain temporary speed boost.

Each Ring that you miss adds 3 seconds onto your overall time and can easily be the difference between winning and losing if you do make it through the 26th Ring on time.

After you’ve completed the trial, head back to speak to Imelda Reyes to either restart the trial or head onto the next step of the Side Quest.

Head back to Hogsmeade and report back to Albie with your findings about how the latest broom upgrade worked for you. Once you’ve done that, the Side Quest will be complete and you will be rewarded with 180 XP and the Flight the Good Flight Achievement.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
