You can complete the Unknown Threat DMZ mission by eliminating 30 unknown forces with Suppressed Pistol headshots in Ashika Island and Vondel. So, this is comparatively easy, considering the other tier 5 faction missions. First, go to your loadout and change the insured weapon to a pistol with a suppressor. You can use Ftag Seige, .50 GS, P890, or any other suppressed pistol.

Also, you can use a scope on it to make headshots easier. Then go to Vondel or Ishika Island and start firing at the enemy forces. Here are some tips for completing Unknown Threat DMZ mission.

  1. Select Vondel as your preferred map since there are fewer real players as enemies. In Ishika Island, there are more players than in Vondel, so you must practice your skill and accuracy there.
  2. In Vondel, you will find a lot of enemies around the Castle area.
  3. Keep your distance from the targets, and try getting as many headshots as possible.
  4.  Some might hide behind walls or obstacles, so aim for their heads.
  5. Bring a lot of plates with you as you will be out there in the open area with just a pistol while completing the Unknown Threat DMZ mission.
  6. Try eliminating standard AI soldiers since stronger ones might need two headshots to be taken down.
  7. Stay near a cover so that you can hide while reloading.

Once you have 30 headshots, you will complete the Unknown Threat DMZ mission and get 20,000 XP and SP-X 80 sniper rifle Contraband as the reward.

In conclusion, completing the Unknown Threat DMZ mission is relatively easy but requires good skill and accuracy. To complete the mission, make sure to bring a suppressed pistol with a scope, as well as plenty of plates. Keep your distance from the enemies and aim for their heads; you can complete the mission quickly.
